Your financial support will make it possible for kids to participate is this year’s summer camp program.
Across the country, educators are sounding the alarm: Over half of low-income students are struggling with mental health issues.
The stress that poverty has on children is overwhelming and takes a huge toll on a child’s mental health and well-being. Children growing up in poverty are more likely to experience low academic achievement, obesity, behavioral problems, and social and emotional development difficulties.
To address these challenges, our School-Based program provides on-site mental health services and counseling to children during the school year.
However, the loss of the school year’s established routine and structure can be especially difficult for children with mental health needs.
But the good news is you can help!
Will you please make a gift before June 15 to help send a child to summer camp?
Your gift will help provide a child with a fun and educational six-week-long summer camp experience that their family would otherwise not be able to afford.
It costs about $150 a week per child to attend this six-week summer camp program.
Your gift will provide a child with six weeks of…
- Nutritious meals and snacks
- Fun and educational field trips and experiences

- and so much more!
